Michael Cole will give an exposition of the Brexit disaster and share insights from an observer perspective.
Having worked for an international news agency and then as an award-winning BBC TV News correspondent for more than 20 years in 56 countries, and then as a main board director of the British retail institution and legend that is Harrods, Michael keeps a vigilant eye on the catastrophe that has overtaken his native land, a very mature democracy that is now behaving like a baby throwing its toys out of the pram. Anyway, that is Michael’s view.
He will explain exactly why and how these events are a tragedy in the making for the continent we all share and, indeed, the wider world. What Michael knows you will not read in Die Welt (although he has written for that distinguished newspaper) or The Economist. And he will answer your questions.
